2013 Annual Meeting
The Pacific States/B.C. Oil Spill Task Force’s Annual meeting took place at the downtown Seattle Public Library on Wednesday, September 25th from 8:00-5:00. This year’s theme was “Emerging Issues in West Coast Spill Prevention, Preparedness and Response”. The Annual Meeting offers an opportunity for the Task Force members to update stakeholders, agencies and the public on activities the Task Force is engaged with in spill prevention, preparedness and response. This year’s topics included: changes in fuel transportation across the region; characteristics of emerging fuels; arctic spill prevention; and risk assessments.
